After waiting far too long, I started belly dancing in 2005, and practicing yoga in 2006. Now I perform occasionally (both solo and with a troupe, Rakset Wadi Al Shems) and teach a beginner/intermediate belly dance class, Basic Belly, on Wednesday nights at 8:30pm at Halanda Studio.
